Meet Ali Garey Photographer, Model, & Model Coach
Bio
Hi, I'm Ali Garey I was born and raised in Lexington, Kentucky. My love for photography all began with my experience in front of the camera. My career in modeling led me to pursue a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Photography & Digital Media and a minor in Art History from the University of Kentucky. I graduated in 2010 and began my career as a full time photographer. I had the cutest studio in Downtown Lexington from 2012-2019. I've spent the past decade shooting all types of photography. My award winning images have been published in local, national, and global magazines. I was named Hot 100 Senior Photographer by Senior Style Guide in 2015 and Icon Status Senior Photographer in 2016. I received 19th place in Shoot & Share Senior boy/girl category. I've attended workshops with fashion photographer’s Emily Soto, Lara Jade, and Sue Bryce. In 2011 I interned with fashion photographer Andrew Kung & 2017 mentored with photographer Josh Eskridge. I currently live in Lexington with my husband and fur babies working as a photographer & model. I'm signed to NV Models & Talent in Cincinnati & 10MGMT in Chicago.
Model Coaching
Ali began her modeling career in 2007. She started offering modeling workshop in Lexington in 2012 coaching inspiring models and developing a model portfolio for them to submit to agencies. The models Ali coached have signed with top modeling agencies across the globe. Ali was also the posing coach and photographer for her mother agency, NV Models and Talent in Cincinnati from 2018-2020.
